This term at university has been leading me into another episode of depression; with days when I don’t know why I can’t get out of bed. Tonight I called my mum because I was in a panic because I have lost the notebook full of months of lecture notes that needs to be handed in soon but she just laughed and I cried, and I wasn’t even crying about the stupid notebook, but because of everything that has been hidden for weeks and the work looming over me that I feel that I cannot do. The University year is nearly over, and all it has done is bring me down and I hardly feel like myself anymore. Some people think that doing a degree in the arts is easy, but they couldn’t be more wrong.
